UPS mechanical failure... What's this?!

Hey guys, this morning I received am email from UPS saying:
Exception Reason:

A mechanical failure has delayed delivery. We're adjusting plans to deliver your package as quickly as possible.

Exception Resolution:

Your shipment is scheduled to arrive today after the delivery commitment time.

Also the webpage is showing something similar. The watch has reached my city in the morning, now it's 9:30 PM, should I expect it to arrive today?

This happened to my watch this week too. It delayed delivery by a day. There was some issue with the plane that delayed it getting to you

Oh that's too bad. Not the tracking page shows "delivery date not available", did you experience the same thing or it showed the next day? Thanks!

Mine didn't show a delivery date until the day it was delivered. I swear, with mine, the world was working against it getting to me. First the mechanical failure, then mine had a late flight that delayed it even more. But, after all of that, it came on Thursday instead of Wednesday.

I pre-signed for mine and left the paper on the door so my UPS driver left it for me. It helps I live in a somewhat rural village where there aren't problems with theft of packages
 
Yeah, I'm in the same boat now. Just odd, I've had weather delays in the past..usually snow related. This one is new, I have never had this message before with UPS in over a decade of shipping and ordering items. Almost comical, the watch travels 1/2 around the world and out of nowhere it's either stuck in Kentucky or only 8 miles away at the Philadelphia International Airport hub. UPS can't give me an exact location.

Extremely frustrating!

This is a message I did not get - When i did create this post, screenshot - looks like it was on June 15th, 2015. UPS has this message on June 14..my watch did arrive around 5pm, June 15th. So yeah, it turned out to be the next business day. Good timing actually, I had a 3rd party watch band and the screen protector (which is still on my Watch Series 1) from Amazon arrive that same June 15 day also.

One thing I learned about pre-orders...whether its my iPhone 6 Plus two years ago, or the Watch last year. The time from when you ordered until the time you get the product...it's so painfully long! OCD of checking status on UPS 10-20+ times a day never helps .. lol

I can't image my insanity today if I did order the 7 Plus Jet Black. :confused::eek:
