There are a significant number of complaints about this on the App Store under recent reviews and downdetector is also noting significant reports. If you launch the app only a blank white screen appears and will crash the app if left open long enough. I contacted them by Twitter and phone to report the issue but I have no idea whether that will reach anyone who can resolve the problem. I also submitted a report to Apple by FBA and included a video of what happens when the app is launched but I don’t believe this is related to ios.

Yes. It’s been widely reported and UPS support has acknowledged that they are working on a fix. If you go to the App Store to check recent reviews you’ll see all the posts and the responses from UPS to several of the reviews from Tuesday.

All you have to do is delete the app and reinstall. Works great.

Does now, didn’t previously. Check the reviews, dozens have reported the problem. I would expect an app update soon, hopefully that doesn’t mess with the functionality again.

I appreciate your posting here; however, as you noted, deleting the app and re-installing it did work. But that was what I tried initially and had no success with. I contacted your Twitter support as well as having a phone conversation with someone in tech support, I believe. I did have a video of the issue that was submitted to Apple, but once re-installing the app restored a functioning app, I deleted the video. I’ve not had any further issues and submitted a revised review on the App Store, mentioning that deleting the app now works. As was noted in several reviews, that did not work early on. Unfortunately, when the app only opened to a blank white screen, there was no way to submit a report of the issue through the app, if that is possible. Anyway, all is well right now, but that issue continued for a prolonged time before it was acknowledged, allowing a large number of complaints to mount up on the App Store.
 
This has been happening for me for months. If I had a dime for each time I have deleted and reinstalled the app, I’d have enough $$ to ship a 3 kg box to Iceland. This happens on my iPad as well.

Deleted and reinstalled the app a couple of days ago with no result. The next day the app started working again. This evening? Nope. No issues with internet connectivity. After all, I’m posting this kvetch. 🤪
