This is strange... I ordered from Apple, with delivery set for today. The Apple shipping email says "No signature required for delivery", and the UPS tracking doesn't say it requires a signature. But apparently they tried to deliver today when I wasn't at home, and the tracking says:

"Customer not in on 1st attempt. Delivery will be made to a UPS Access Point™ next business day for customer pickup."

So UPS just gets to decide themselves if they'll require a signature, even though Apple didn't? What the hell?

  • My Apple shipment email said no signature.
  • UPS Tracking said a signature was required.

I was surprised the driver dropped it off without requiring a signature.

Kinda wish it was required.

Had a UPS package go missing Thursday that was delivered when I wasn’t home. Glad it wasn't my watch

Nope. Apple themselves said a signature wasn't required, so no waiver was necessary.

Yeah our ups tracking said no signature required but had to sign for both. One watch came at 6 and another at 8. Spent hours reading iPad near front door. Lol

Missed first watch and ran out to curb without socks and shoes to catch ups driver for first delivery. Lol
