iPhone 11 Pro UPS pickup issue

So I’m trying to pick up my new iPhones and Apple Watch at a UPS distribution facility but it won’t allow me to choose that option? It says unavailable, it is the distribution facility in Nashville. Any idea?

Has it gone beyond the Order Processed stage or even beyond Origin scan? UPS may not allow it until the package starts moving within its system.

It started moving, the Apple Watch did, but only in China

You have to wait until it is in the U.S. to do that.

Might depend. Last year when I was able to track my package from Zhengzhou, China, I was able to request a hold for pick up right then and there and does not need to wait till it hits the U.S to request. You just need to wait until it has the departure scan.

Last year I had to wait about a day before delivery of my Xs to request hold for pickup at UPS.

You haven't got the shipped notification yet. The phone hasn't officially "Shipped"

I’ve always been able to pick up packages at UPS but in the last 6-9 months, it became no longer an option. It only lets me pick up at a neighbor’s house or deliver on a different day. I’ve tried with numerous packages and it seems that their policy has changed. I even have ups choice account. It’s pretty frustrating.

My phone shows up on UPS My Choice, phone is still in Zhengzhou, China and looks like I do have to option to change delivery and I checked and I do show that my local UPS CC is available for the hold request.
