Apple rep said the watches are not made in China but USA rather. Not sure if she is correct or not, but if so we are wasting time tracking these planes from China.

Maybe the bands are being put on the bodies in the USA. There is no way they are fully manufactured in the USA

what is the first thing that happens on our accounts when the planes land (if our watches are on them? credit card charges?

has that been happening after they land in anchorage or at their further destination (Louisville, etc.)?

Space Grey 42 mm Black Sports Band
Confirmation e-mail :04:10

Oh man, I think you're screwed. I also ordered the SG. Confirmation at 3:06am with 5/13 delivery but there's people who have 4/24 delivery for the SG and they got the email of death from Apple. So if they're already backed up with 4/24 deliveries I think it's pretty slim we'll have any movement on ours today (charges, change in status).

The plane theory has proven pretty accurate at this point, and if these watches were made in the USA Apple would be broadcasting that fact every chance they got. Lol just another Apple rep that knows nothing.

That rep doesn't have a clue, and you should feel bad for thinking they did.

This was posted in another thread. I still say take it for a grain of salt. Ive talked to multiple reps and received multiple stories.

If UPS saw the way we stalk their planes, they would be scared.

So can anyone get access to a CIA spy plane and do an x-ray scan on those planes to see if they have any Apple Watches?

I'm hearing people with :03 getting their watches, maybe me :04 will be next *praying*

I'm a :03:31 Space Grey Sport and still stuck at processing with no charge on CC... I think I missed out on yesterdays shipment by a few seconds, with my luck I'm probably the guy right at the cutoff of not getting theirs friday lol

However this thread is making me feel happier than the other depressing threads, I think I'll stick here today

Holding my breath like everyone else that we'll see an influx of shipments today (normally ~ 2pm Pacific). I have to think that they are sending multiple planes full of these things over here every day.

UPS 77, Shenzhen to Anchorage, set to land at 5:07 pm est today.
UPS 61, Taiwan to anchorage, set to land at 5:05 pm est today.
UPS 63, Hong Kong to anchorage, set to land at 4:51 pm est today.

Are these three flights the only possible ones bringing watches today? Or are there other possibilities?

I think Apple PR would have taken the chance to say it was made in the USA if it was.

You don't honestly believe that do you? Although who knows those planes might not even have watches in them!

Here's my issue with this whole plane theory.

When I received my 6 Plus on launch day I was given a tracking number before it even left China. Why would it take for the plane to land in Alaska or Kentucky to get a tracking number? I was also charged before my 6 Plus left China.

This whole Apple Watch launch seems to be different than past launches. Going off of all the activity this week the process is:
-Plane lands in Anchorage
-CC charges begin to show up
-Eventually you switch from processing to preparing for shipment
-Sometimes the shipping info will show up for UPS My Choice people
-Apple then shows the product shipping the day before it delivers

I just got an update saying that my Watch is in the US. I'm not sure if originated from out of the country or in the US, but I'm going to assume out of the country, meaning planes have now landed and orders are being sorted.

Because the phone was tailored to your network at the plant and SIM card was inserted at the plant and phone was sealed at plant

An update from Apple? UPS?

I'm also pretty sure normal orders like iMacs and the like show up with tracking in China, too.

If thats really the order of operations there should be a few chances left today for many of us. I do know in the past for Apple stuff coming from China I get a shipment notification before it leaves China (IE the last MacBook pro I bought). If its somehow different this time that would be lovely :)
