I am very caffeinated and staring out my window! My label was created on 9/13 but I had no movement until this morning sometime after 4:30 est when I went back to bed. I had lost hope of a launch day delivery. For those of us that didn’t order for store pickup, UPS Truck Watch Day is my favorite day of the year!

Good for you. My update says delivery "Before 7:00 PM". So, I get to waste my entire day waiting so as to not risk missing the delivery. Good grief.

In store pickup removes the anxiety of waiting to catch the delivery before it gets stolen off your porch.
Doing this next time.

UPS has held me hostage today and still no sign of them. They always deliver by now. Torturous cause I can’t leave my apt. Going insane lol

And it just got worse. The UPS tracking map of the truck's location just disappeared... maybe too many iPhone 16ers online caused an overload ;-). So now I really have no idea when to be on alert.

I live very close to a large university and university hospital system. So my UPS deliveries are alway on the 1 truck that circles campus and the hospital for 7+ hours before it gets to me. So the phone is less than a mile away just doing circles...

Had to do that last year as the only option for obtaining a launch day phone.. It was an absolute nightmare, insanely un-organized and the apple employee screwed up my eSim activation until I literally did it myself with his device.

You must like going to movie theaters, too? Nope, not for me, at least on day zero where you get to drive miles, park in a crowded remote parking lot, then schlep into the store to share the experience with hundreds of "friends". Might make a little more sense for an in between cycle purchase.

order 16 pro max and 2m MagSafe charger. Both on same truck. Only my charger was delivered this morning. Sad that he has to come back and deliver my phone later.

I never use the so called “Geniuses” in the store. I just pick up my device at my scheduled time and leave.

At around 3pm my ETA switched from "By 1:45pm" to "by 7pm" lol. Truck has driven past my house at least once in each direction today. Sigh.

Apple IUP. They wouldn't let me leave without giving my 14 pro back. The eSim transfer wasn't working. Had no choice.

That's my problem here, too. I am on the side of the HWY that makes for an easier right turn out of here at the end of the route through the neighborhood so I am pretty much last. 7:00PM is looking doubtful based on where I see the truck now, off into other 'hoods that are not even usually on this route. LOL.

Looks like no matter where I live ups always delivers last to me. Truck gets close to me then drives miles away.

Houston, we have a problem, we're being followed!
