UPS made it here around 5:15. I said to the driver there must a few of these going out today. He chuckled and said: just a few. In a way it probably makes for an easy day. No heavy packages, everybody home waiting. Wham, bam, thank you maam.

Nah, don't. I used to be one and it was fun meeting people who were so excited that their phone had arrived. There were always a few who genuinely complained that they'd waited around all day for it but it was no big deal.

I never had a problem with that. One less driveway/flight of stairs to walk and doorbell to ring and wait for.

I watched the UPS map today and it is way behind being “real time”. Still showed my truck was far way when there was a knock at the door and the UPS was there hold my three boxes. New phone, watch and AirPods 4 with ANC.

That’s what I should have done. But he said my phone was buried and couldn’t find it when he dropped it off.

I would be stalking mine, but it never left the local UPS warehouse on a truck.

Waited all day and nothing.

Now waiting for it to get loaded this morning for Saturday delivery.

Still don't know if that will happen since it's from Louisville, KY ???

I had to chase my truck yesterday because, maybe it’s my fault that I never noticed this, turns out that for deliveries of Apple products or at least launch day product deliveries the shipment release authorization does not apply.

I've always been curious how UPS deals with security for iPhone launches? Your truck was a walking target, wasn't it?
