iPhone 5 or earlier upside down sideways

i recently went on a trip to Phoenix and took photos and videos with my iPhone 5 all up to date. I used the camera app to take all the photos and videos. When I took the photo and videos I rotated the phone to take the photos and videos. When I transfer the photos and videos to my mac, the photos and videos were upside down, sideways and right side up. How do I set the camera app so no-matter how I rotate the phone the photos and videos come out right all the time

Your not holding it correctly.... take pictures with the home button to the right or bottom of the screen.

Either your phone's Rotation Lock is on, or you're holding the phone upside down...
