I had the incipio frequency for the iPhone 5 and it had good grip and drop protection. For my 6, I have the UAG. I think it has good drop protection, but it's not grippy. So when you find a grippier case with similar protection then please let me know.

^ havent heard others make that concern, anyone that has this case do you feel its too slippery? have you dropped it because of its feel/grip?

thanks parrot5 for the screen protector impression, it sounds like a decent enough protector. im leaning to this case and its included SP, now just need to figure out the color i want..

Will this work with a tech armor ballistic glass protector? Will the raised lip still be higher than the glass?

Is the clear version sticker than the white/orange/black cases? I saw an orange one and the back plastic was hard and slick, not rubbery

So, I just got both a clear and white one in. The white is just smooth plastic. The clear although it is not grippy seems to be less smooth than the white. I can't seem to explain it, other than the clear plastic allows for a little bit of tackiness, when your hands and the case are clean

I don't agree that the Maverick (clear) case has tackiness in relationship when your hands and the case are clean. My 6+ is a perfect match for this particular case in that the case don't make your phone feel bulky. The fit and finish is great as the buttons have a tactile feel and just works. The ports at the bottom are fitted in the right places.

There are two wholes in the back where you can place your index finger in to better hold the case and I don't think this feature is offered on some other cases.

Personally, I think this is one of the better cases for the I6 series.:)

Great job UAG!

I've never used the Ballistic glass protector on this case but is using the glass protector that is being sold by Verizon. It's their brand. The lip is still raised on my UAG Maverick case without issue of the glass coming into contact with a flat surface.:apple:

Definition of tackiness

cohesiveness: the property of being cohesive and sticky

I received two cases today, blue and clear. The material of the clear definitely provides more grip.

I just picked this up for the plus. I am very impressed with how light it is how tight the fit is and how durable it seems very nice job on their part.

You ever use clear vinyl tubing from a hardware store (plumbing section)? The clear case has a similar feel for me as that. The blue is is a hard smooth plastic.

Clear aquarium tubing :) so sort of (slightly) sticky then. Interesting choice of material for a case. Or maybe it's TPU. Both of these are soft though. Does the clear on the UAG feel hard or soft?

Thanks in advance. Sorry to ask for all these details. It isn't always as easy to return purchases in Canada.

It's a hard plastic. Maybe someone else who has tried clear vs colored can chime in and better describe. From the companies description I wasn't expecting a difference but there is.

Beginning to become some kind of an old thread but I am waiting for my iPhone 6 to ship and I am seriously considering this case in a white color (I will get the space gray version)

Does anyone else have any advice, review, or updated info on this case?

I am wondering if the white version of this case gets dirty (fingerprints, etc.) over time? and also, it's hard to tell how bulky it makes the phone, but will I be able to put it like usual in my pockets etc.?

Thanks!

I've got this case in all black and the clear one. No personal experience with the white color. I think it is an excellent case. Gives it a more rugged feel without adding a lot of bulk, and makes holding the phone a lot easier. For the pricepoint I think it's one of the top contenders.

Really dig this case for my iPhone 6+. Never heard of UAG before as I mainly used Speck or some cheap knock-off-case-that-cost-$4-but-takes-6-weeks-to-ship-with-no-tracking-number-case from China case. I got the clear one and really dig the case a lot.

The looks got my attention the most since it's "different" looking than most of the cases out there. Grip is good and seems like it's a beefier/sturdy case without the excess bulk.

Has anyone used this case with an edge to edge glass screen protector. I have this case with a glass screen protector that doesn't cover edge to edge and is getting annoying. Anyone using the Kline?
