Hello,

My ipod somehow got corrupted and itunes recognizes it is there, but it cannot read any of the content on my ipod: including my apps, some of which I purchased and have data on that I do not want to lose.

I've been looking for ways to back up my apps so I can restore my ipod. But I can't back up the apps if my itunes can't read the apps to begin with!

I've been told to restore it and then sync my ipod again. Won't I lose all my apps, though? Should I write them down
and download them back? Will I have to pay again? Will I lose all my data?

Desperately searching for an answer!

Try rebooting the iPod Touch and see if it works.

For those apps which you have purchased, you do not need to purchase again as long as you use the same credentials which you use with the app store. All you would need to do is to download them again if they are not already on your iTunes.
