B beckasani macrumors newbie Original poster Aug 4, 2008 #3 I have tried again...i'm not sure how to get it to get back into the restore screen. It keeps rebooting itself and telling me to connect to iTunes. I have tried this. any suggestions at this point would be greatly appreciated.

eddiec312 macrumors 6502 Aug 4, 2008 #4 This happened to me while jailbreaking an Iphone 2g for a friend. What I did was put it into DFU mode. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fiTcKMZfyfk Afterwards I manually selected the restore firmware which was 2.0 for me which I download to my PC and it worked.
