Urgent Help required! Iphone 2G

Hi guys!!

I need urgent help.
I bought a second hand iphone 2G (I think it had v3 onnit, unlocked and jailbroken)
I did a reset via the phone, the phone now does not start, its stuck at the apple logo.
Apparenlt because it had Cydia on, the device cannot be recovered, and has to be done via Itunes, i have this instructions:

1- shutdown your iphone with the hard reset "home button and power for 10 second"
2- connect the usb cable to the pc but NOT to the iphone"
3- open itunes
4- while the iphone is off, press the home button for 5-10 seconds then plus the other end of the white connection cable into the iphone
5- do not remove your finger from the home button
6- itunes will detect it and you can now restore it
7- finally you need to jailbreak it again..follow the web instructions

The problem also is, i formatted my PC last nyte, wich means there wont be an Iphone backup or whatever anymore, i will have to do a fresh Itunes installation.

Will i be able to recover this device? What do i do?
(I also recieved the unlock/ jailbrake software)

Here's what you need to do after installing iTunes.

- Turn the phone off

- Plug it into the computer, and put it into DFU mode like this:

- iTunes will detect it and tell you it needs to be restored. Let it do it.

- You can then jailbrealk and unlock by following iClarified's tutorials:

okay i found the origional methoud "difficult" only follow hese instructions if:
my ipod/iphone 2g/3g/0s is stuck on "loading up" with and apple on it and thats it!! it will not display anything else otherr then an apple!!!
what you must do is!!!
1. hold "home" and "power" button in untill screen goes black.
2. connect your usb into your laptop/pc not your ipod.phone.
3.load up itunes and ensure itunes isnt downloading or updating or w.e,
4.(read before you exacute his operation) hold down your "home" button for five seconds, then connect your cable FROM laptop into your ipod/iphone and still hold down the "home" button for five more seconds.
5. you will see a disc with a lead sayin itunes,
6. unfortunatley u will have to re-install your iphone's harware i.e 2.1.3 through itunes

BUT YOUR PHONES HAS BEEN RESTORED!!!!!! WOOOHOOOO
please report or post if this didnt work or if it did id like to see the results or see if i need to change my tut happy hacking and dont do CYDIA, do ROCK APPS instead lol
