Resolved Urgent Help

I was trying to sync my iPhone contacts with my iMac and I accidentally did the exact opposite. Could anybody please guide me if I can restore the contacts. Restoring a backup for some reason didn't work.😡

No and I just realized that I had a misspelling in the title. I just restored the ones I commonly used from text numbers so I guess resolved.
