    Hi all...

I've been thinking about getting an Apple TV, I live in the UK. Over here, they cost the equivalent of around $150 (£99). One of my brothers is currently in the US and I might ask him to bring me one back from there, at not far off of half the price (2/3) I'd have to pay for it locally.

Besides needing a different power cable to suit the different style of electrical socket, is there any reason why the US version wouldn't work over here? I suspect not, but like to do a little research before asking the brother to pick one up.

    Cheers.

Hi, I bought one while in the US and it works fine back in the UK. As you mentioned, the only thing I changed was the power cable.
