US Pricing - Does it include tax?

Hi,

My cousin is going to New York in three weeks, and I'd like him to get me a new iPod Video and a $15 Gift Card. That's $349 and $15 = $364
So is that how much I need to give him? or do i need to add tax onto that total?

I'm not from NY, but I'm fairly sure he'll automatically be charged NY sate tax on top of that. So, $364 + whatever NY sales tax is.

Those prices don't include tax. Tax in NY is 8.8%

Your cousin will be charged VAT on top of that unless he sneaks it back into Scotland.
