    BBC.

Poor fella, weighing in at a tiny 22 stone (down from 29). How very dare the prison under feed him so!

Yeah, how dare they not maintain a convicted criminal's higher than normal food intake so he can keep his larger than normal figure. Cheeky prisons!

He wants to sue?
If I believe what I see on telly most overweight Americans would PAY for that amount of weight loss…

29 stone (406 pounds) at an average of 6' he was Obese Class III
    BMI = 55
Now after dropping 7 stone he is still a whopping
22 stone or 308 pounds… and still Obese Class III
    BMI 41.8…
(And don't tell me it was all just muscle or big bones!):rolleyes:

I dunno, maybe he thought it was a cunning plan to shorten his jail sentence by premature death through obesity?

    Strange…

Are they forcing him to exercise? Seems like if he's feeling hungry all the time he should just sit around instead of exercising. 3,000 calories should be enough to maintain your weight.

Why doesn't he write a book about how to lose weight and release a DVD as well, to make some more money :)

    Commit murder and lose weight

That's the title he should have.

And his jail probably tried to make him eat his veggies and get some exercise, too. The entire system is corrupt.

Perhaps, but now he can't fit in any of his old dress suits. He will be forced to enter the courtroom in a prison jumpsuit that will prejudice the jury - making him look like a criminal.

i think they should put a lot of people in jail for this. 1) whatever judge did not throw out this frivolous case 2) whatever lawyer actually brought up the case and 3) the fat guy for being so stupid to think that losing weight is a bad thing.

an alternative solution would just be to let the porker eat himself to death. at least then he wouldnt be around to bring up frivolous lawsuits.

    There's a precedent...

In an episode of Stargate SG-1, they have imprisoned this gluttonous Goa'uld, Nerus, at Area 51. They keep him from eating as much as he wants and offer him a feast when they need to get intel from him.

    :p

Of course, if you don't follow the series you have no idea what I'm talking about...

He hasn't gone to trial yet champ. Comdemn him once he's found guilty, before that time he's as innocent as you are and has been held in custody for 8 months.
