I am in Central England (Leicestershire area) and my US to UK power converter that allows me to use things like a hair straightener and blow drier was broken during a customs check (wankers). I need to find another. I tried Radio Shack on Church St and tomorrow I am off to Strafford and Iron Bridge Gorge so I'll be a bit more south (and north). If anyone knows of any place I'd be so happy to find out where I can get one. Argos didn't have one in their catalog either so I am stuck. I also tried ASDA and they only had awesome sweets which I bought a ton of! yum

Thanks

does this help?

or how about this?

though I guess you're probably looking for an actual store and not just a place from which one can be ordered...
It would if I were in the US and could walk into the store. I am in the UK on vacation and mine was broken during customs. I am borrowing certain items now, but when I return to London tomorrow I will be without. I'm probably going to pop by the airport then if they have them.
Thanks

If you can find a Maplins they'll have them,if you have to wait till you get back to London there's one close to Regent street Apple.
