USA iphone 4 in Germany

Does anyone know if I can use an USA iphone in Germany with a T-mobile carrier? Or do I have to unlock it first?

How long will you be using it there? You havento unlock it but if you are moving there just sell it and buy a iPhone there.

The iphone 4 cant be JB or unlocked yet.
A US iphone will only work with official AT&T microsims.
If you want to use it worldwide you should purchase a factory unlocked iphone from a country that sells them like that for example Canada.
Or online.
