USATODAY.com not displaying text using Safari

Is this just me, but for the last week or so the front page of USATODAY only shows photos with no text captions. I think it was happening even before the 10.11.4 update.

On Chrome:

Mine looks the same in Safari and Chrome and shows the captions. Do you have an adblocker running maybe?

I do, but I just noticed things are back to normal now. I didn't change anything, so I am assuming it was something on their end that broke Safari.
