USB 3.0 Support on new MBPs?

Apple is trying to push Thunderbolt as much as possible and having USB 3.0 wouldn't help out that much. Although it could drive lower Thunderbolt prices, high doubtful though.

Apple is not "trying to push Thunderbolt as much as possible" and I am not sure why you think that they are. TB is Intel's technology. Apple were early adaptors because it's a damn good idea that is not yet supported by the peripheral manufacturers, however it does not mean that it makes USB obsolete and useless. Apple have no commercial reason to "push Thunderbolt" and, in my opinion, it's odd that so many people on these forums think that it's in some odd way in Apple's favour to push thunderbolt over USB. It is not. USB 3 looks very likely since it is be supported natively by the IB chipset.
