hi, how do I tell if a PCI usb 3 is compatible for the macpro ?
I got burned once when I bought a card that does not work.

Basically you are looking for a card that use FL1100 controller and only get power from PCIe slot.

Even though these 2 are not absolute requirement, but really highly preferable.
