usb adapter for Samsung 970 Evo NvME SSD

Hi, I have a Samsung 970 Evo 2TB SSD. Know any good usb adapter/enclosure that allows me to read/white/format the drive from a dual boot MBP?

Any USB enclosure will seriously limit the speeds of this drive. If you want to maintain the high speeds of the SSD, you'll want an external TB3 NVMe enclosure. There are USB enclosures at 3.1 gen 1 and gen 2 speeds as well. A quick search on newegg or amazon will show many options.

Thanks. The TB3 NVMe enclosures are much more expensive than those usb ones. I guess the speed improvement is worth the cost.

That's up to your judgement. Unless you're doing something that really benefits from such high speeds, you may be happier saving money.

Just make sure you actually get an NVMe enclosure if you go the USB route, there are WAY more SATA only m.2 USB-enclosures than NVMe ones.
