USB adaptor for iPad 6th generation

Good Morning! I need to use a SanDisk flash drive with my iPad 6th generation. I need to be able to transfer Word and Excel documents back and forth. Can someone please suggest the correct adaptor to use? Thank you.

You need this one, and it will probably require that your iPad be connected to external power for the USB drive to work.

looks like this will work with an iPad 5th gen 2017 as well
i might need a USB lightning thumb drive for my iPad, well done need but want
i hear kensington makes good one as does samsung.
any advice or help would be umm helpful!
