I have an Apple imac G3 which does not have an wireless network card. So i was wandering if there was a way in which you connect AirPort Express to the imac with a usb. Then i would be able to receive a connection from BT modem to the imac through AirPort.

No, there isn't. If you have ethernet on your G3, you could use two airports to connect - one connected to the G3 will talk to one connected to the modem. But there's probably cheaper ways...
