I have a late 2005 G5, and I turned the computer on, immediately plugged in my iphone and walked out of the room. I walked back in later to find that my bluetooth and USB ports aren't working. I can't reset PRAM because no USB. Any ideas? Not desperate here, the computers old but I would like to get another year out of her.

Thanks!

Have a reason what it might be---I recently pwned my iphone and in order to put the phone into DFU mode i had to install some patch of 10.5.5 And that patch has to do with the USB ports i believe. Installing now and will let you know if I've answered my own question.

Just reinstalling 10.5.6 works. This is just in case anyone else who pwns their phone runs into this problem.

Hi,

I have the same problem on my iMac G5. Have you found a way to fix it?
I was thinking of taking the HDD, put it in an external USB case and connect it to my MacBook Air. Perhaps I can replace the file that was overwritten by the DFU script?
