usb and lion

i made a clean install usb for lion. its 8gb. can i still use the usb to put stuff like pictures and word doc on it even though i put lion on it?

I suppose you could partition the USB drive, putting the lion install disk on one partition and leave the other for files.

Assuming that you partition it and Lion doesn't need all 8GB of space, then yes, you should be able to.
