Hi all,

Can anybody recommend a USB C cable for the 16 Pro Max that is high quality and rugged as I will be taking it with me/throwing it in my bag. A lot of cheap cables you buy off Amazon star to fray/rip after a couple of months.

Apple seem to have removed their own Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) (MQ4H2AM/A ?) from the website, but they were in stores a few days back; I've seen Calldigit in Apple store & online; they appear decent & if 0.5m is adequate are reasonably priced at $30

You don't need Thunderbolt & they're usually thicker / heavier, but maybe rugged .

I bought a large lot (over 100 new, bulk packaged on ebay) of cables2go certified thunderbolt 3 cables.

I just use them for everything now. It supports everything no need to check what kind of cable it is.

They seem to be out of stock on their website and the cable doesn't look rugged. Do you have it?

I have 10 of them, some Lightning, some USB-C, different lenghts. 1m (3ft) are the best (thinnest) in my opinion. They are durable, not rugged like some braided, but they don't feel like cables, more like rope. Very flexible. I highly recommend them.

I have these. To the guy looking to buy... dont pay $30 for one cable I'll sell you two of the above for $10. granted mine are tb3.

although the braided USB-C https://www.apple.com/uk/shop/product/MW493ZM/A/ seem to last much longer than previous models & are cheaper; unless you need the speed.
I hate White cables due to them getting dirty quickly. I am after a Black/dark colour...

The 1m CalDigit cable you linked is £50. Why is it soo expensive? Apple prices?

For charging or for data transfer?

What about the Nomad kevlar usb-c cable? Anyone try that one out?
