USB C Display

Out of interest who here thinks Apple will eventually release a USB C version of the Thunderbolt Display?

I'm in a quandary, my MacBook does everything I need in terms of capability, but when I'm at my desk I'd really like a big screen, more so as I can adopt the correct posture for long hours spent sat using a computer. I know I can buy a monitor now but I'd love an Apple display with ports, charging and decent sound...

I guess I could buy an iMac but it's duplication and more hassle maintaining two systems, not one

What do you all think?

They haven't even updated their existing displays to retina, never mind USB-C. Since TB3 will share the same connector, I can see apple doing this eventually (if they ever update their monitors again).

I predicted this back when USB-C (and TB3) was announced. I am sticking to that prediction.
