The Consumer Electronics Show is in full swing and some cool new USB-C accessories are making their debut, adding functionality to the RMB that some of you miss. This first one is pretty cool, from Belkin, it's called BreakSafe:

Excellent, this should become a sticky on this part of the forums rather than the Mac Peripherals forum, this is where people will see them.

We've fought that battle many times here!

Every front-page story about USB-C makes mention of the retina MacBook yet they bury the only thread we are allowed to have about usb-c peripherals in an empty sub-forum.

Thats a real shame as this forum is going to get more and more popular over the coming months, seems like common sense to put it here where it will be seen by owners and potential buyers. It will help potential buyers make up their minds whether to buy a MB if they know what accessories are available.

After all the rMB is the future and getting more popular all the time.

I really like that breaksafe connector thing, but would like to know exactly how big it is and how flexible the cable is, an L shaped one would be good.

Eventually every Apple device will have usb-c and it will make sense to bundle threads in a generic accessories forum, but for most of the last year, and still currently, the only device using usb-c is the MacBook, and a huge number of people come here looking for advice on usb-c. They are not going to the accessories forum as is made clear by the fact that the usb-c thread there largely consists of posts by the same few users who are subscribed to it.
