Does anyone have a dual USB C hub that directly connects to your MBP and works with a hard shell.

I have a Mosiso hard case for my 16” MBP and was looking into a hub that directly connects to the side of my MacBook that would also be compatible with a case. I’ve seen a few that explicitly state it doesn’t work with a case.

Just wondering if something like this exist out there.

Does your case cover the USB-C ports on your MBP? When I looked at the Mosiso hard cases online, it looked like the USB-C ports were still accessible to devices. I have had a NOVOO USB-C Hub for more than a year, and I have had no problems with it. NOVOO makes an 8-1 USB-C Hub with a USB-C PD port so that you have an additional USB-C port on the device.

I actually have the Mosiso case you probably are speaking of. The ports aren't covered but the corner is and beside the keyboard is so a flush mounted dock doesn't seem like it'll work.

I did buy a hub though already that seems to be working with my setup just fine. I use a Deepcool cooling pad since I have modded the VRM and heatsink with thermal pads to transfer the heat to the bottom of the case. The cooling pad does wonders now with it modded this way.
