Hi All:

I'm trying to find a USB-C Hub that has multiple (e.g., say 7 or 10) USB-C ports. I've only seen USB-C hubs that have multiple USB-A ports, or USB-C hubs that have an anemic 2 USB-C ports.

Is it possible after 2+ years, there still are no USB-C multi-port hubs?

I don't think I've seen any with more than 3-4 and even they are very rare, I think the demand just isn't here yet

There should be, I have many peripherals and considering the charger take up one, that leave three useable.

Well if you've even seen one with 3 or 4 I would be interested. Would appreciate a link/name. I've been searching and the most I've seen are 2 ports, which is a joke.

Thanks for any pointers!

I was on the same search recently and ended up buying this:

https://www.macrumors.com/review/caldigit-ts3-plus-dock/

It effectively converts one of the two TB3 ports on my 2017 iMac to five USB ports, plus a lot of other stuff.

A bit overkill, but I do also have two TB2 drives which can daisychain into the TB3 port on Caldigit via a TB3 to TB2 adapter, so I actually have seven drives connected to it, plus other stuff.

Very good quality IMHO....one of those purchases I feel really good about. All the review sites rate it very highly.

Comes in silver or space grey, and with 0.7 meter cable or 2m cable. There is an earlier version without the "plus" in the name.

(I have no connection with Caldigit!)

So if I count that correctly, there are 3 USB-C ports on that. 2 are thunderbolts and one is USB-C port for USB-C. Thanks, I appreciate the pointer, but I guess I'm going to keep holding my breath and hope they come out with a reasonable hub like they used to for USB-A hubs, where as this is more like a dock (a nice one by the look of it).

But in addition you have five USB-A ports. I still have enough uses for these, some have USB-A to USB-C leads plugged in to them.

I looked at this (probably on this forum) when I first got my Macbook in 2015. The advice I received was that the USB-C standards did not support multiple USB-C outlets in the form of a hub, like we had with USB-A. I guess TB3 has changed things since then but TB3 peripherals are very expensive and don't work on my Macbook.
