M MacMan988 macrumors 6502a Original poster Apr 9, 2016 #1 I just noticed that the current generation of iMacs doesn't have a USB-C port. Although they have thunderbolt ports. Any ideas why this is? Are iMacs yet to be updated or is it something only MacBooks are getting?

Because Apple decided not to include USB-C last fall - I'm not trying to sound flip, but they have internal reasons that they did not disclose.
