USB-C port

    How will i connect regular USB cables/flash drives to the new MacBook using the USB-C port? I dont get it!

    usb C to A adapter.

    If i want to charge the MacBook, do i still use the USB-C port?

    Yes, it just has USB-C and a headphone socket.

    So two ports in all, a USB-C and a headphone socket?

    Yes. You need the dongle if you want more ports.
