Here's one from Samsung 256GB though..

I am using this exact version. It was 20$ on Black Friday and it works perfectly. But it may depend on the case. I am using a small 1cm USB-C Extension with most of my cases.

That is 100% a fake drive. You are not going to find a 1TB USB drive for less than $100.

Amazon is absolutely full of scammers selling 1TB drives for $15-$40. Garbage, all of them!
I don't disagree but to say you won't find a 1TB for under $100 isn't true.

Well I mistakenly bought a 128 USB Flashdrive from Sandisk and I bought this cable to convert USB into USB-C cable. When I connect it with my iPhone 15 PM the data transfer was fast and when I turned on ProRes recording it did show 8 minutes.

For a couple of months I am on tight budget, so it will be difficult to spend on SSDs or expensive Samsung USB-C Flash Drive.

How reliable is this solution?

I have no issue using my old Sandisk usb-c drives on iPhone 15 Pro Max. Why bother risking your money on those unknown brands???

Could you provide a link for the 1cm USB C extension? Your help would be greatly appreciate. Thanks
