I bought a 2018 13inch Macbook Pro, and while waiting for it to arrive, I need to figure out how to organize all the connections that I need: USB, HDMI output, SD card, and ethernet.

I don't need to have one hub for all, although there are some like that out there if there is a more sensible way to have them covered with multiple adapters.

I've been holding out due to the keyboard and all the adapters needed. But, since I have decided, I need peoples suggestions to better cover them. Thanks in advance.

The best stationary dock is CalDigit TS3 Plus. If this is too expensive or you need portable - tell your limits.

I want portable and less than $50 unless it's really really good
It's very limiting. Tell what ports you need, whether you need it to passthrough charging and in what mode you need display to work (4k@30Hz enough?).

passthrough charging is not needed and other ports are flexible as in I'd rather get multiple hubs for different purposes unless they're all working well in one hub. 4k@30hz fine for me.
