Oh that's funny, not sure why it says "Anker USB Type-C to Ethernet Adapter for USB Type-C Devices" in the title then! And in item description "High Speed Ethernet: Gigabit ethernet port provides access to superfast network speeds" what's all that about?! Guess it's a mistake?

I guess you are not looking at your link because it's called "
Anker Premium USB-C Hub with Power Delivery, with 3 USB 3.0 Ports, 1 USB-C Recharging Port and Aluminum Exterior for the new MacBook 2016 and ChromeBook Pixel"

No ethernet.

I can vouch for the quality. Works like a charm. Plus, it's Monoprice. They stand behind their products.

Thanks for the follow up report.

Yes, I'm a longtime Monoprice customer. Their stuff works, or if it doesn't they make it right.

Didn't want to create a new thread for a similar topic, but do Monoprice (or anyone else) offer a USB-C hub with 2 or 3x USB 3 ports and pass through charging instead?

I know they have one with 4x USB 3 ports (here) and that's a little overkill for what i need.

Cheers

I got the j5Create Multi Adapter (4K HDMI, 2xUSB3 ports, pass thorugh charging) here in Singapore as there is very little choice and slightly cheaper than the official Apple one. Working perfectly under Mac OS and Windows 10.

Eventually going to get a better one that has DisplayPort and audio ports or maybe buy a new monitor with USB Type-C built in with integrated hub. Then can use as a permanent dock at home, just one cable and becomes a full desktop system!
