No, when I connect it I see it on the right corner next to the battery the icon but after disappears. I never tried the Belkin one, I tried the one that I have in beginning of my thread.

I just tried it and it works. I turned off cellular data and wifi and connected via ethernet to a switch with the Belkin adapter. I was able to browse to websites. I didn't see any indication. At first it said I need to connect but I'm guessing it was still registering the connection.

Or let me know if there's something else I should test.

It definitely works. I get a different IP for my iPad connected via Belkin adapter and ethernet which I can only tell by looking at my router leases.

This is why I reluctantly buy from Apple site especially when it’s too new to have other experience. Worst case, I take it back to them. With all the variations in USB C, it’s complicated. I might have actually bough it from Amazon but if I did, I would have carefully checked the item number.

So, connecting a USB-C hub (with Ethernet) to the new iPad Pro defaults to wired (andwifi icon disappears from status bar). Did a quick speedtest. Sweet! #ipadprob

@stroughtonsmith @marcoarment @imyke @viticci @siracusa How is no one mentioning that with USB-C and a hub you can now connect an iPad Pro to gigabit ethernet? This is amazing!
