USB C to MagSafe Cable (Power Only)

I plan to use my personal M1 iMac to trickle charge my work M5 MacBook Pro.

The USB C will be going into the iMac and the MagSafe will be going into the MacBook Pro.

Can any data or connection be made between the computers while doing this? Or is it power only?
