Hi Everyone!

So I just found out that my Ethernet port on my MacBook is busted. The warranty is not longer valid and they told me it could possibly be a logic board problem. I have gotten suggestions to purchase a USB Ethernet Adapter but I have not been able to find one that is compatible with my 10.4.11 MacBook. Does anybody know of a brand that will be compatible with my MacBook?

thanks!

You should install one of the drivers from this page:

http://www.sustworks.com/site/news_usb_ethernet.html

On that page, there's a listing of all of the USB Ethernet Adapters that are supported. Since there are only a few manufacturers making the chipsets, many of the adapters out there will work.
