USB hub 1.1 or 2?

Are powered USB hubs 1.1 or 2?
I have an older powered hub that is about 6 years old. I bought it before USB 2 came out and used it on my computer that had USB 1.1
I now have a computer that supports USB 2, will this hub still work?
I WOULD just plug it in and try it, but its packed away in boxes SOMEWHERE, but I don't want to go through the effort to dig it up if it isn't even going to work.
Will it matter?

It'll work, but painfully slow. Get a new 2.0 hub. They're cheap now.

While the hub will still technically work, it will be painfully slow. Don't bother digging it out and just buy a new one.

Depends on what you want to use it for. Mouse, keyboard, etc., it will do just fine.

Data transfer of any kind, get a 2.0 hub.
