I connect to my monitor using a single Thunderbolt 3 cable, which carries a Display Port signal, charges my computer, and powers 4 USB ports on the monitor.

I want to have Ethernet configured through this one-cable setup, but my monitor's USB ports are USB 2.0. This will cap my internet connection through there at 480mbps, where I have gigabit ethernet.

Is there a hub that would plug into my MacBook, and have a separate ethernet port, as well as a USB-C port that would still plug in and charge my MacBook, send the Display Port signal, power the monitor's USB ports, etc?

No longer can I recommend any OWC product. My TB2 dock, very lightly used and in like new condition died for no reason outside of the warranty window.

My own TB3 dock no longer has a working wired network port. Not sure why it died. At this time the TB3 dock is a glorified USB hub as nothing else is coming through it.

OP, if you find a TB3/UBC-C USB hub I'd be interested.

Thanks,

Update: It should be noted prior to this OWC was my go to option for Mac/Apple components like memory, docs, etc.
