Phones USB MTP mode not working in Bootcamp

Hi,

Has anyone tried connecting the Nexus 5 to a macbook air in bootcamp? I have MTP mode enabled but cant seem to get the phone to show up as a storage device in Computer. I was however able to connect the phone via MTP to a HP laptop no problem. Anyone have any idea what might be going on?

Get in touch with forum member jsw. I don't think you need to use bootcamp at all. Just use the Mac app Android File Transfer (I think)? jsw should be able to help you out. Here is a link to one of his posts on the subject of Nexus 5/Mac and rooting.
