All of the sudden today. I have a Mid 2010 15" MBP and have had ZERO problems with it until today. I cleaned all the ports with a dust compressor and now one of my USB ports doesn't work. It still powers my cooling pad though. Anyone have any suggestions? Apple wants me to send it in for repair but this is my only computer and they also said they wipe them. UGH. Thanks

USB port stopped working?

i assume you tested whatever your plugging into it on another USB to test the thing your plugging in?
Yes, the other USB port works perfectly fine. All the peripherals work fine on the other USB port.
Could spraying Dust Off (a dust blower) in one of the USB ports cause it to stop working completely?
