If that’s the case, it really doesn’t matter what kind of USB plug that is. Why did you ask?

My MB only supports the larger 1" not the 1/2 "mini

LOL, I was thinking the exact same thing when I saw the solution and went up to the problem!

Thats partially true. There is a mini memory card in the Dash Cam.I used the proper cable but for some reason it doesn't work. So i was looking for a card reader to plug into the Dash Cam [post #4] to read the mini card in the DC onto a larger 1" reader that will fit into my MBP but i didn't know what type of plug i would to fit into the DC.

Just take the card out and put it directly into your Mac (with an adapter).

The adapter should come with your microSD card if you purchase the card separately.
