Has anyone tred copying the USB kernal extensions from their mac to their 
TV in order to get a keyboard working?
I don't have anTV to test this with but if you were to copy AppleUSBTopCase.kext, AppleADBKeyboard.kext or anything else that looks relevant from a (preferably intel) Mac. Then launched a keyboard useable app via ssh to test...
Or maybe everyone in the world has already tried this. It seems to obvious to me, I've just never seen it posted anywhere.
