I was wondering if there is a USB to FW cable out there? I want to plug into the firewire port and plug my WD Passport in to take advantage of the speed. Or anything out that I can plug my USB drives to so I can use the extra speed! I have Google'd but nothing that I'm looking for pops up! Maybe someone has already done this and can help.

You can't do it, USB and FireWire are not compatible.

Even if such a cable existed, it wouldn't be any faster, as the limiting factor would still be the usb part of the connection, connection is only ever as fast as it's slowest link.

As all ready stated it is impossible and even if it were providing the same USB cable was used in theory it would be very slightly slower!
