Hi,

just bought a late-2012 Mac Mini and I am looking for a good USB WiFI AC adapter

it seems like the D-link models are not so good

any recommendations ?

What are u trying to accomplish????? Not disclosed in your post...what outcome do U want??
 
OP, it depends on which OS is installed on the Mini. A lot of the manufacturers quit supporting these for Macs after the introduction of SIP with Sierra. My IT person recommended to me for my Linux boxes a couple of the dongles by Edimax, they've been around for a while, have supported Macs since Day 1, and regularly update their drivers for all 3 OS platforms. If an OS in the industry can be supported easily, they'll likely be a good bet. I also have one of their dongles attached to a Synology NAS, PnP, happy with it...
