USB Wireless Card?

Is there a way to use a seperate wireless card, like the Cingular/Verizon one on a Mac? Is there something like a USB connector? 😕
 
What kind of wireless do you want? Connect to a home wireless point or do you want to be able to get wireless where ever you are via a cell phone network?
