USB wireless headset static after 1-5 minutes

Hi,

I have a usb headset connected via USB. After 1-5 minutes the audio becomes robotic sounding.

The static/robotic sound progressively gets worse until all you can hear is a faint clicking sound.

I've been using this headset with my macbook pro for over a hear and everything works fine. It also works fine with my Windows box as well.

Headset: Astro A50's

Mac: Mac Pro 4.1
