Is 5K iMac 2017 i5 3.5Ghz Quad Core Radeon Pro 575 with 1TB fusion priced at USD$1,200 consider a good deal for today’s standard?

The cheapest I have seen in the UK is £1.250 .$1,200 is only £942.63 so you getting a bargain at that price wish I could get it at the same price here. :( It seems to me that Apple products cost me in the UK. :(I have just noticed the one you can buy for $1,200 is even more of a bargain then I thought the price £1.250 is for the base modal 3.4.:(

Mainly because all the US prices you see are excluding tax, so each state adds their own on (or not at all) at checkout.

In the UK we have one VAT rate for Apple computers, and it's displayed in the price (unless you're a business where VAT can be reclaimed). Once you add 20% to the US prices, convert $ to £, and add custom/import duties, you'll see it's hardly different.

Although for a while I used to buy my Macs from the German Apple store, as it worked out cheaper than buying from the UK Apple store. They also have different stock available in the Refurb store.
